Barazza Thalas 1PTFID is a freestanding induction hob for outdoor cooking. It combines black glass ceramic with a substantial satin AISI 316 stainless steel body. Two induction zones allow different parts of a meal to be prepared at once. As a freestanding appliance, it needs no worktop cut-out. Check the supporting surface and access to a suitable electrical connection before use.

Two induction zones and power

The larger zone is 200 mm in diameter and delivers 2.3 kW, rising to 3.0 kW with Booster. The 160 mm zone delivers 1.4 kW, up to 2.1 kW with Booster. Maximum absorbed power is 3.7 kW. Power management can be set to 1.6, 2.0, 2.4, 2.8, 3.2 or 3.7 kW. Compare these settings with the available electrical installation.

Functions and safety

Functions include Booster, selective pan detection, automatic preheating and keep warm. Power is progressively adjustable from 0 to 9. Barazza also specifies an electronic child-safety lock, residual heat indicator and automatic safety switch-off. Follow the instructions when choosing settings and when handling a surface that may remain hot after cooking.

Dimensions, placement and equipment

The external footprint is 400 × 550 mm (width × depth), according to the technical drawing. It also locates the electrical connection; no cabinet cut-out is specified for this freestanding model. Supplied equipment includes a Schuko mains plug, waterproof cover sheet and Thalas 1TTH chopping board. Check space, power supply and supplied items before ordering.
