Barazza Thalas 1PTF2 is a freestanding gas hob in the Thalas Outdoor range. Its body is made of substantial satin AISI 316 stainless steel. This 40 cm version has two distinct burners: one semi-rapid gas burner and one Chef double-ring burner. It stands independently and needs no worktop cut-out. The semi-rapid burner has an output of 1.75 kW; the Chef double-ring burner delivers 3.5 kW. The two burners let you select the heat source for the pan and cooking task. The cast-iron pan support holds cookware during use. These outputs apply to reference 1PTF2 and should not be confused with 1PTF1, which has a single 4.7 kW double-ring burner.
Cookware rests on a cast-iron pan support. The technical drawing also identifies a cast-iron flame spreader. Electronic ignition is powered by a battery, so ignition does not depend on a mains connection. Barazza specifies a safety valve, eco-flame and provision for LPG supply. A waterproof cover sheet is included. Follow the instructions for the chosen gas supply and connection.
The external footprint is 400 × 550 mm (width × depth), as shown on the official drawing. That drawing locates the gas connection, the battery and the gas pipe outlet. This is a freestanding appliance, and there is no cabinet cut-out dimension. Allow access for the gas connection and observe the clearances in the installation instructions when planning its position.
