Hood downdraft 120 cm B_Draft

Barazza B_Draft 1KBDD12 is a downdraft cooker hood installed in the worktop beside the hob. It is intended for a nominal 120 cm kitchen module and has a satin AISI 304 stainless steel visible section. Instead of hanging above the cooking area, the appliance draws air downward near pans and cooking fumes. Barazza states compatibility with gas and induction hobs. Check the position, hob dimensions and space inside the base cabinet before cutting the worktop.

Performance and controls

Soft Touch controls provide three regular speeds and an intensive mode. Barazza quotes a nominal motor flow of 1000 m³/h, pressure of 500 Pa and sound power of 49–70 Lw(dBA). The LED light bar has a 3000 K colour temperature. The filters are stainless steel, and a maintenance alert reminds users when attention is needed. An included remote can operate the light and choose a speed. The hood is also prepared for control from a compatible Barazza scale, which is a separate product.

Two installation methods

For standard built-in installation, the official drawing specifies a cut-out of 1138 × 100 mm. For flush-top installation, it specifies 1153 × 113 mm and shows the profile and depth needed for this arrangement. Do not interchange these two opening sizes. The duct outlet is Ø 150 mm, with a stated reducer to Ø 120 mm. Filtering operation is optional and requires appropriate components. The drawing also notes that the motor can be fitted on the rear side, which may help when planning the cabinet layout.

Planning the worktop

Use the official installation drawing for all distances to the hob, the cabinet arrangement and the selected worktop mounting method. Built-in and flush-top openings have different tolerances and cannot simply be swapped. Barazza specifies energy rating C and maximum absorbed power of 0.3 kW. The 67 kg gross weight and 1280 × 880 × 595 mm package dimensions refer to transport rather than the size of the worktop cut-out.
