TERMS AND CONDITIONS
General
These terms and conditions apply to all purchases made from Bellistri ApS, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
By placing an order, the customer accepts these terms and conditions.
Bellistri ApS acts solely as a supplier of products and assumes no responsibility for design, installation or use of the delivered products.
Products and use
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the ordered products:
- are suitable for the intended installation
- meet the technical requirements
- can be correctly installed in the project
Bellistri ApS cannot be held liable for incorrect orders or for products that do not fit the customer’s installation or project.
All dimensions and technical information are indicative, and minor variations may occur.
Responsibility for measurements and compatibility
It is the customer’s responsibility to check all measurements, technical specifications and compatibility between the ordered products and the existing installation.
Returns or exchanges are not accepted in the event of an incorrect order.
Natural variations in materials
Products made from materials such as brass, bronze, copper or other natural metals may have natural variations in colour, structure and surface.
These variations are not considered defects or faults, but a natural part of the character of the material.
Payment and delivery
If the item is in stock, it is normally dispatched within 1 business day.
Products that are not in stock at the time of ordering have an estimated delivery time of between 1 and 8 weeks, depending on the manufacturer and product.
Delivery times are indicative.
Bellistri ApS cannot be held liable for delays caused by:
- manufacturers
- transport companies
- customs clearance
- strikes
- force majeure
- other circumstances beyond our control
Transport and receipt
Upon receipt of goods, the customer must check the packaging for visible transport damage.
Visible damage must be noted upon receipt and reported to the carrier.
Hidden transport damage or defects must be reported in writing to Bellistri ApS no later than 5 days after the delivery date.
After this, the delivery is considered approved.
Installation
All products must be installed by authorised professionals.
Bellistri ApS assumes no responsibility for:
- incorrect installation
- installation errors
- design errors
- damage caused by installation
Any costs for installers, tradespeople, dismantling or installation are not covered by Bellistri ApS.
Right to complain
A 2‑year right to complain under the Danish Sale of Goods Act is provided.
The right to complain only covers manufacturing defects.
The right to complain does not cover faults or damage caused by:
- incorrect installation
- limescale in the water
- dirt or impurities
- lack of maintenance
- use of unsuitable cleaning agents
- mechanical damage
- normal wear and tear
Limitation of liability
Bellistri ApS cannot be held liable for:
- indirect loss
- loss of operations
- consequential damages
- lost earnings
- damage to installations or buildings
Under no circumstances can the liability of Bellistri ApS exceed the purchase price of the product.
Installed products
Products that have been installed, mounted or taken into use cannot be returned or exchanged.
Installation or attempted installation is regarded as acceptance of the product’s condition and compatibility.
Right of withdrawal
For online purchases, the customer has a 14‑day right of withdrawal from receipt.
Withdrawal must be notified in writing before the expiry of the deadline.
Goods must be returned unused and in the original packaging.
Return costs are paid by the customer.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- custom‑made goods
- goods produced to the customer’s measurements
- products with special finishes
All fittings with surfaces other than chrome are considered special orders.
In‑store collection
When collecting in store, the customer reviews the products together with our staff.
Once the customer has approved the products, the purchase is considered an in‑store purchase, and the right of withdrawal lapses.
Exchange service
Bellistri ApS offers a voluntary exchange service within 7 days.
The product must be unused and in its original packaging.
No cash refunds are given.
Discounted goods and special orders cannot be exchanged.
Delivery
Shipments are delivered via external transport companies.
Pallet deliveries are made to the kerbside at the customer’s address.
Any additional fees for failed delivery are borne by the customer.
Uncollected goods
If the customer does not collect ordered goods within 7 days, Bellistri ApS may charge a storage fee of DKK 1,500 incl. VAT per month.
Delivery outside the EU
For deliveries outside the EU, customs duties and import charges may be applied.
These costs are paid by the recipient.
Force majeure
Bellistri ApS is not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control.
Prices
All prices may be changed without notice until the order has been finally confirmed.
Governing law
Any disputes are settled in accordance with Danish law.
